The Kappouren (cooking) style is a highlight of the restaurant, where seasonal ingredients are prepared in front of your eyes.
The tempura “kuruma-ebi" (tiger prawn) is freshly deep-fried in an elegant thin batter and served with salt.
The owner recommends “Steak," “Sukiyaki," and “Shabu-Shabu" as well as “Oba-Maki," a thick slice of beef served with tempura, which is also a popular dish.
After enjoying seasonal “sashimi" or “charcoal grill" and sake, finish off the meal with “earthenware pot rice" made from seasonal rice or “Japanese soba noodles" made from aromatic domestic buckwheat flour to fully enjoy the essence of Japanese cuisine.
Kappouren’s recommended locations

The restaurant has 20 seats in total, including two private rooms that can accommodate from 2 to a maximum of 14 people, and 8 seats at the counter for easy drop-in seating.
Many customers come to the counter seats, where the owner’s hospitality is pleasant, and many customers come alone to “enjoy a leisurely meal.
For a special date, we recommend the stylish and relaxing private rooms.
Enjoy a memorable moment in an elegant atmosphere with cuisine that emphasizes the natural flavors of the ingredients.
Review by Kappouren
- High-grade ingredients such as hamo (Japanese conger eel) and wagyu beef are delicately presented. The young but skilled chef and the charming proprietress made the restaurant a comfortable place to eat.
- There were plenty of shochu, awamori, and sake to choose from, and the food was delicious!
